Errors on our Web site
Prices and availability of services are subject to change without notice. Any errors found will be corrected promptly once they have been brought to our attention.
In accordance with the legislation in force, no sales tax is applied to the prepayment of your account through the Transactional Pages of the Electric Circuit Web site. Applicable taxes are included in the rate and will be paid out when you use the Electric Circuit’s charging service.
You may use a credit card issued in Canada by Visa® or MasterCard® to pay for your transaction.
Confirmation of your transaction
Once your transaction is complete, we will verify the validity of the information you have provided, specifically your method of payment and billing address. We reserve the right to cancel the transaction without providing a reason. If we cancel your transaction, we will notify you by e-mail at the address you have provided.
When we cancel a transaction, we don’t usually charge the amount to your credit card; however, if this should happen, we will refund the amount or ensure that your card is credited for the same amount.
Your use of the Web site
You are prohibited from and agree not to submit on this Web site any information that is inappropriate, obscene, or fraudulent. You are prohibited from and agree not to engage in any activity related to the use of this Web site that constitutes a criminal offence or unlawful action. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from all causes of action arising from any of your actions or inactions related to your use of this Web site in violation of this paragraph. We assume no responsibility or liability that may arise from any unlawful content of any user’s submissions or uploads.
We comply with the applicable law governing the protection of personal information. In addition, the Service Provider uses encryption techniques to guarantee the confidentiality of the information exchanged between you and the Service Provider within Transactional Pages. The Service Provider also protects information exchanged when the Web site is accessed through a non-secure platform or in a public location, which could endanger the confidentiality of your personal information. However, we shall not be held responsible for any damages that you may incur as a result of your access to the Web site under such circumstances.

You agree not to remove, edit or otherwise alter trademarks, service marks, logos and other proprietary information contained on the Web site. Trademarks and the information contained on the Web site, including comments from users, may not be reproduced, in whole or in part, or used in any way without obtaining our prior written consent.
Social media Web sites
Personal Information: To be able to offer you the registration and transaction services of the Transactional Pages, to process your transactions and to improve your experience with the Electric Circuit network and the Web site, the Service Provider must collect certain personal information about you, such as your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, credit card information, account number with the Service Provider, data about your use of the EV charging products and your electric vehicle, your energy usage, and other similar information.
Other communications: We may also require your comments about your experience with using the services of the Electric Circuit and this Web site. If you communicate by phone with our service providers, such as the Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) in Québec, the conversation may be recorded to assess the quality of CAA services or to protect both parties in case of disagreement.
Web logs: The Service Provider also maintains standard web logs that record data about all visitors to the Transactional Pages. These logs may contain: (i) the Internet domain from which you access the Web site; (ii) your IP address (your computer is automatically assigned an IP address when you surf the Internet; your IP address is either static or dynamic; a static IP address may be identifiable to you; a dynamic IP address is usually not identifiable to you); (iii) the type of browser and operating system you use; (iv) the date and time you visited this site; (v) the pages you viewed on the Web site; and (vi) the address of the Web site from which you linked.
Children: This Web site is not intended for children, and we do not encourage children to provide us with personal information. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 16, we will delete this information as quickly as possible. Sharing of information
Your personal information will not be shared with third parties other than as explained in this Confidentiality Policy, except as required or authorized by law, or as ordered by a competent court.
The Service Provider may share the information collected with the members of the Electric Circuit and Our service providers such as CAA, including the purposes outlined below.
Your personal information may be used by a member of the Electric Circuit as part of a targeted promotion of its products and services insofar as you have participated in one of its customer loyalty programs. Only authorized personnel of the Electric Circuit, of the Service Provider and of our service providers who require this information to perform their duties will have access to the file containing your personal information, which will be held at our offices or on our servers or those of our service providers.
We may also share this information with third parties as part of a sale or assignment of a business participating in the Electric Circuit, or for audit purposes.
We may share with third parties certain pieces of non-personally identifiable information and aggregated non-personally identifiable information, for example, the number of customers located in a certain geographic area or how many hours a day customers with an electric vehicle are using EV Chargers.
Your personal information is kept as long as required for the purposes for which it was collected or for the purposes of compliance with our legal and regulatory obligations. When this information is no longer necessary, it is destroyed. When destroying documents and data, we follow strict procedures and ensure that only authorized personnel has access to them.
All personal information will be handled in a confidential manner in compliance with applicable Québec legislation respecting the protection of personal information. To the extent provided by these laws, you have the right to obtain your file and request that it be corrected if the personal information it contains is inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous, or if the collection, release or keeping of the information is not authorized by law. We ask that you help us by notifying us of any change in your personal information. In addition, if you notice any errors or inaccuracies, please let us know and we will make the necessary corrections.
