All electric vehicles that can use fast-charge stations are compatible with 100-kW stations since they have CHAdeMO and Combo connectors.
However, only a few electric vehicle models can charge at more than 50 kW. These include the Hyundai Kona and the Chevrolet Bolt. It is the vehicle that determines charging speed and capacity.
If your vehicle’s on-board charger does not allow fast charging above 50 kW, then using a 100kW fast-charge station will not reduce the charging time.
Also, the charging speed will decrease over the course of the charging session. Again, it is the vehicle that slows down charging as a protection measure.
